The High Road (Columbia/Sony)
Om de lat maar meteen hoog te leggen: van Broken Bells verwachten we een debuut van het niveau The Postal Service. Daar is de eerste op internet vrijgegeven single The High Road gewoon té goed voor. Broken Bells is een samenwerking tussen Dangermouse (die van Gnarls Barkley) en James Mercer (die van The Shins). De electrojongen opereert subtiel in dienst van het liedje en de zanger veroorzaakt rillingen. In maart meer van dit moois.
